#StopLine5 Canvas Print
Description
I created this piece in protest of the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline. This pipeline runs directly through tribal lands, including the Bad River reservation.
100% of the profits from these canvas prints will be donated to support environmental monitoring in the Bad River area.
Enbridge’s existing system that includes Line 5 has already leaked at least 33 times, spilling more than 1,100,000 gallons of oil. Over 60 tribal nations oppose Line 5.
Historically, pipelines being built on or near tribal lands have contributed to the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous women. In 2021, two Line 3 workers were arrested in a human trafficking sting. https://www.mprnews.org/story/2021/07/03/six-men-including-two-line-3-workers-arrested-in-human-trafficking-sting
